Real estate agents, like doctors, lawyers, and other professionals can earn designations, certifications, and other credentials. These are usually shown by putting a series of initials after the agent’s name.
These designations mean that the agent that you are working with is one that has gone the distance and is someone that you can be certain in fully trained in the areas designated. Earning designations advances an agent's knowledge as well as shows dedication to our clients.
We have earned the following designations:
CRS: Certified Residential Specialist: Less than 4% of all Realtors hold this designation. To receive this honor, every CRS has undergone a rigorous , specialized course of detailed training aimed at making residential transactions as smooth and worry free as possible. CRS designees are recognized for advanced study in listing, selling, investments, taxes and a proven record of experience in applied residential marketing.
GRI: Graduate Realtor Institute designees have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services to their clients. Any person awarded the GRI designation must be member of the National Association of Realtors. A Realtor who possesses the GRI designation has not only completed a course of study required by the program, but also subscribes to the associations "Code of Ethics"
ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative: Awarded by the National Association of Realtors, the ABR designation requires a comprehensive course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and documented experience in buyer representation in real estate transactions.
ASP: Accredited Staging Professional: are true professionals trained under strict guidelines using proven staging techniques. Homes that are staged with an ASP Professional Home Stager sell faster and for more money. This is because Staging sets the scene throughout the house to create immediate buyer interest in your property.
